| SUMMARY: |
Regarding labelling of husked (brown) rice and milled rice, the standard notified by G/TBT/Notif.99/668 is amended as follows for the purpose of proper labelling:
(i) Standard for labelling of rice which is a mixture of multiple varieties, place of origin or year of production is established;
(ii) Standard for labelling to indicate the mixture of multiple kinds of ingredient rice is established;
(iii) Standard for voluntary labelling on the quality of milled rice is established.
